Etched Glassware for Wedding AccentsYour wedding is one of the most important moments of your life. It is the end of the old life and the beginning of a bright and exciting future with your new love. This occasion should be as elegant and as memorable as possible. This is one of those few moments in a persons life that only happen once, and thus should not be taken lightly. There are wide variety of ways that you can make this day more memorable, but very few of them are lasting and are specifically oriented towards you and your spouse. Beyond the cake and the invitations, most wedding accent items come as they are with no personalization whatsoever. It is the same tuxedo and the same wedding gown that everyone else is wearing to their wedding. The flowers are just flowers and the drinks are just drinks. There is nothing personal or memorable about them beyond the fact that they are present at your wedding. There is a way, however, for you to personalize a lot of the aspects of this day, either for your own wedding or as the ultimate gift for a loved one who is getting married. This is the aspect of etched glassware. We will start with the invitations. An invitation is a wonderful thing to get. People love a wedding and love to see their friends and family at their happiest moments. But what happens to the invitations after the wedding? A select few are stuck in Bibles or photo albums to possibly see the light once every few years or so and the others eventually end up in the garbage when the excitement of the occasion is over. Imagine, however, if your wedding invitations were actually engraved glass plaques. You can have these made about the size of a postcard so they don’t take up too much space. You can bet that something this beautiful will never end up in the garbage. These will end up on walls and mantles to be viewed for a lifetime to come. Next, there is the concept of the engraved glasses. Instead of simple plastic or Styrofoam cups or even just plain champagne glasses, get a lot of wine goblets and have two hands holding one another engraved into them with the name of the bride and groom and the date. After the reception tell everyone to take one of the glasses with them as a treasured memory of this wonderful day. For the bride and groom, there will be one bottle of champagne that the groom will open as the reception begins. This bottle should have the names of the married couple, a date, and a picture of something like a heart or a silhouette of the bride and groom kissing. You can also write a sweet sentence or two on it such as, “Forever begins today,” or “Two hearts as one.” The newlyweds will love this and keep it forever. Etched glassware can be a great way to enhance other occasions also, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. The best part is that the process is relatively inexpensive. This beautiful glass art concept is possibly one of the most original gift ideas today for special occasions. Make those memories all the more memorable. After all, aren’t your loved ones worth it?
